Applications:

Base layer for wallpaper

Flax nonwovens can be used as ecological base material for the printing (e.g. rotary or digital printing) of wallpapers or wallcoverings.

Table cloth linen

Our nonwovens can build the natural ground for e.g.

napkins,
place mats, or
table runners

and support naturalness on the set table. Thanks to the soft touch and the warm, natural color, linen made of flax fibers are an eye catcher. Another advantage and unique feature is the biodegradability of the flax material after use.

Interior design

Besides different types of wallcovering – plain-colored, embroidered or printed – our sustainable flax nonwovens can be applied as carrier material in different areas:

For a good environmental balance

The advantages of natural fibers, like flax or hemp, already reflect in their ecological cultivation. For example, the cultivation of flax require considerably less water in comparison to other natural fibers. The plants themselves do not make any demands on the soil and thus, do not require any fertilzer. Hemp can even be used as "catch crop" to prepare the soil for more demanding plants. Growing areas for flax or hemp are located in Europe, making long transportation routes unnecessary in favor of our environment.
